About Us

The Government of India launched Samagra Shiksha- Integrated Scheme for School Education from 2018-19 which includes Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA), Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) and Teacher Education (TE). As required by the Govt. of India, new Society U.P. Education For All Project Board has been registered with the Registrar Society and entrusted to implement Samagra Shiksha which includes SSA, RMSA & TE. As a result, the Board of the Society and the Executive Committee have been constituted and Government Orders have already been issued in this respect. Meetings of the Executive Committee are being held regularly.


STATE PROJECT OFFICE(SPO)

The State Project Office is well established for implementation and monitoring of Samagra Shiksha. The State Project office has rich experience of implementing Basic Education Project, DPEP-II, DPEP-III, Sarva Shikha Abhiyan and Samagra Shiksha. A cell for internal audit and a cell for technical supervision of civil works have also been created at State Project Office. Besides, Technical Advisory Cell (TAC) has been created to provide technology support to State Project Office. In addition to this Nipun Bharat cell has also been created to provide support in the field of Quality of Education.


District Education Project Committee

In all the districts, District Education Project Committee (DEPC) have been constituted under the Chairmanship of the District Magistrate for overall guidance and supervision of ISSE implementation.The committee comprises of educationists, representatives of voluntary agencies besides district level officials. The Committee is fully functional and has supervised selection of construction sites and all procurement issues.


The functions of the DEPC include the following:-

• To oversee the implementation of ISSE
• To formulate Annual Work Plan and Budget of the district.
• To arrange for supervision of civil works.
• To develop District Management Information System.
• To establish coordination between different departments for convergence of services for Basic education.
• To establish coordination between District Institute of Educational Training and Basic ShikshaAdhikari.
• To issue policy guidelines for different activities under ISSE components.
• To promote structures and mechanism for participatory educational planning and development with focus on SMCs.


District Project Office

For the implementation of ISSE, District Project Offices have been set up and are functional in all districts. BSA, who is the District Project officer, is in place in all the districts. Keeping in view the emphasis on targeted interventions 6 posts of District Coordinators, one each for Girls Education, Community Mobilisation, Training & Quality, MIS, Inclusive Education and Civil work shave been provided. Besides, One Assistant Account Officer and one accountanthas been also provided to help in disbursement of funds to SMCs and other agencies and to maintain the records relating to ISSE accounts. Supporting staff- MIS in Charge, Computer Operator and typists have also been provided in the District Project Office.
