Free textbooks and workbooks are provided to all students of Class 1 to 8 studying in Primary/Upper Primary Schools, Government Schools, Non-Government Aided Primary/Upper Primary, and Government and Aided Schools run by the Social Welfare Department as well as Aided Madrasas operating in the state. Along with this, textbooks in Braille script are provided to visually impaired students.
